Abdur Rashid is a seasoned civil and structural engineer with more than 25 years of experience delivering major public-sector infrastructure programs across Alberta. As a Director at Aurora Planning & Engineering Ltd., he leads the firm’s engineering practice with a focus on municipal infrastructure, capital planning, flood mitigation, and complex multidisciplinary project delivery.

Throughout his career, Abdur has overseen multimillion-dollar capital portfolios, including transportation networks, public facilities, bridges, water and drainage systems, and municipal servicing projects.

Abdur brings extensive experience working in highly regulated and publicly accountable environments, guiding projects from concept through design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout.
